British Chinese artist Aowen’s latest Exhibition

Aowen Jin’s latest exhibition, called Intangible, turns part of the Strand campus at Kings College into an interactive artwork. It challenges you to discover and explore paintings that are completely invisible to the naked eye.

The mysterious works are painted around the space on everyday objects – and even on the interior of the building – but are only visible with a UV torch, which causes them to glow brightly fluorescent.

Viewers must explore the space to uncover the works, and piece them together to work out their meaning.

The exhibition has been commissioned by Pokfulam Road Productions, and was created as a collaboration with five playwrights and a poet. It forms part of the Kings College London 2014 Arts & Humanities Festival, which runs from the 15th October 2014 to the 24th October 2014, and will be held at a secret location on the Strand, where there will also be performances of the related plays and poetry.
