The EcoChic Design Award 2017 – the world’s largest sustainable fashion design competition – is now open for applications until 3 April.
They are on the search for the next group of designers who have what it takes to cut waste out of fashion and who will join them in Hong Kong in September for the grand final at Hong Kong’s fashion week CENTRESTAGE.
This year they have again expanded the competition and will be accepting entries from Asia, Europe and the (newly added) USA.

On a related note, The EcoChic Design Award Fashion Academy will be hosted at Sheffield Institute of the Arts at Sheffield Hallam University on Tuesday 19 January 2017.
At this full-day free-to-attend event, designers will be informed about the environmental impact of the fashion industry and be able to try out the basics of sustainable fashion design techniques of zero-waste, up-cycling and reconstruction.
