About Solicitor Leon Chua
Leon graduated with an upper-second class honours degree in LLB Law. He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at BPP Law School before commencing his legal career with the Magic Circle firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and subsequently qualified as a solicitor with an international law firm.
After leaving this firm, Leon provided complex commercial legal advice to the renowned entrepreneur, Mr Felix Grovit. He subsequently established himself as a solicitor practicing in commercial law and dispute resolution where he has provided complex legal advice relating to joint ventures, shareholders agreement, terms of business, franchising and commercial disputes to a number of overseas clients as well as UK based clients. In addition, Leon has vast experience in dealing with High Net Worth and corporate immigration. He regularly advises Tier 1 (Investor), Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) and overseas companies looking to establish themselves in the UK. With his strong commercial background, Leon is able to advise clients not just on their immigration matters but also on their business’ needs.
In 2013, Leon joined Chan Neill Solicitors, a City based law firm that specialises in commercial law, dispute resolutions, conveyancing and inward investment into the UK. In February 2015, Leon was made a Partner of Chan Neill Solicitors and he currently heads the Chinadesk operation of the firm.
Leon has been involved with notable cases such as R (on the application of Lee Ling Low & Others) v Secretary of State for the Home Department  EWCA Civ 4; Chan v Chen  EWHC 1489 (Ch); and R v Martin Jahnke, Cambridge MC (2009).
