The newest addition to our team is here! Welcome Beibei Wu, Nee Hao Magazine’s official fashion guru. Aside from corporate experiences with Harrods and LV, she’s never studied fashion but certainly loves styling her outfits into complementing creations.

 

This look is inspired by the latest black and white checkerboard trend, that’s become popular with celebrities such as Gwen Stefani and Jessica Alba.

Black and white is everywhere this season, from designers such as Balaciaga, Louis Vuitton reinventing the 60’s style; see for instance this campaign by Moschino:

It has quickly trickled down to our high streets stores such as ZARA and Asos.

There is nothing more chic than using simple basic colours as black and white to complete an outfit. Whilst I think it is particularly fun to experiment with current trends, it is also important to make an outfit your own.

Hence, rather than wearing some pointy white or black heels like the runways, I chose these gold and black Charlotte Olympia platforms to give me height and also add my own personal touch.
