Burberry and Printemps today announce the launch of ‘The Magical Christmas Journey by Burberry’, a unique partnership that brings together the Christmas spirit and traditions of London and Paris in a playful celebration of the season at the Printemps flagship store in Paris.
From November 2014 Burberry and Printemps will showcase a unique creative concept taking over the atrium, windows and façade of the iconic French department store on Boulevard Haussmann throughout the festive season.
‘The Magical Christmas Journey by Burberry’ tells the story of a journey of a little boy and his teddy bear who travel from the Burberry flagship store at 121 Regent Street, London, to the Printemps department store in Paris. It celebrates the Burberry heritage, innovation, music and British weather and Printemps’ values of Parisian elegance, creativity and a sense of sharing.
For the first time, the iconic Printemps windows of Boulevard Haussmann will feature an interactive digital experience allowing visitors to control elements in the Burberry window scenes using their smartphones.
To celebrate the partnership, Burberry has created an exclusive collection of limited edition pieces designed especially for Printemps including ready-to-wear, accessories, special gifts and collector’s items. The exclusive collection also offers Burberry Beauty gifts including the new My Burberry fragrance with a red gabardine hand-tied knot and a make-up box set for nails and face.
Burberry and Printemps previously partnered in 2013 through the London Mania event with an exclusive collection and the Burberry Art of the Trench Paris initiative.
