BUTIKKU – Europe’s only specialist retailer of luxury Japanese designer clothing

Regent Street adds to its global mix of fashion brands. Set to bring a Japanese twist, BUTIKKU can be found at 13 Maddox Street.

BUTIKKU works directly with a host of leading Japanese designers to bring a hand-picked selection of luxury clothing to the UK.

The Maddox Street store, designed in collaboration with architects Soho+Co, provides a boutique space for clothing and a dedicated gallery space displaying Japanese fine art. The brand currently offers over 300 exclusive clothing and accessory items, each hand-picked from the latest collections of leading Japanese designers.

BUTIKKU’s brands are well regarded in Japan where they are typically stocked in the most prestigious department stores, but currently unavailable elsewhere in the UK or Europe. Several designers are alumni of internationally-renowned designers, including Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, Jean Paul Gaultier and Aquascutum.

The opening exhibition in the gallery space is a selection of works from the “Flower Ball Series” by renowned Japanese artist, Takashi Murakami.

BUTIKKU aims to bring the best of Japanese contemporary design to audiences across London and Europe. This new boutique is the next step in that progression.
