The duo performed a scene from Othello in Beijing opera-style. Patrick Spottiswoode, Director, Globe Education, commented, “The Sam Wanamaker Festival was created to celebrate the long history of prestigious theatre training in this country – and the talent that comes out of it. This year we welcome actors from the USA and China to share with us their training and interpretations of Shakespeare. It is vital to our practice to learn from our neighbours, both across the River Thames and across the world.”
