An exclusive reception and private view of fine Chinese art at Bonhams’ recently renovated auction house in New Bond Street, London will take place on Tuesday 13th May, 2014.

The event will be in support of Create, a charity who believes in the power of the creative arts to transform lives. They focus on engaging society’s most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in inspiring, sustainable programmes in areas where provision is poor and engagement in the arts is therefore low.

Create Patron, author Esther Freud will be speaking at the event, which is being hosted by Colin Sheaf, a world authority on Asian ceramics and Chinese art.

Colin will provide intimate tours for guests who wish to learn more about the exhibition, and will be conducting an auction on behalf of Create. Lots include a new painting by Create Patron, Royal Academician Ken Howard OBE; and a unique dance lot donated by Create Patron, Matthew Bourne OBE.

Tickets to this exclusive event are priced at £35. All ticket sales and auction proceeds will support Create’s life changing creative arts programmes with disadvantaged and vulnerable children and adults.
