An enchanting tale about a young orphaned girl, her nasty stepmother and a lost shoe. Will Yeh Shen be able to attend the New Year Festival? Will she ever find happiness? And how can a fish, a dragon and a horse help her?

The story of Yeh Shen first appeared in 9th Century China, over 1,000 years before the first European Cinderella story. This timeless tale comes to life with puppetry, live music and all the excitement of the Chinese Spring Festival, in a new version from Yellow Earth, the company behind 2013’s exuberant Why the Lion Danced.
