China Britain International Design Week opening today

This year’s China Britain International Design Week (CBIDW) 2016 opens today at the Siemens’ Crystal Building. The theme for this year’s event is “Designing towards a Smart Future”. The event will focus on Design, Innovation and Technologies, and certainly, business opportunities between China and Britain.

CBIDW 2016 includes two parts: an exhibition and a conference themed “China Britain Smart Cities”. Their exhibition will include projects from a variety of sectors within the creative industry such as smart cities, technology, engineering, creative industry and architecture.

Industry leaders and speakers including Arup, Bentley, Siemens, PriestmanGoode and Wilkinson Eyre Architects will be speaking at the event.

The Chinese Minister Councillor Xu Jin will also attending.
