An exhibition of iconic characters from a galaxy far, far away depicted in a classical Chinese style by Hong Kong artist, Tik Ka will be shown at China Exchange, London in January.
Demonstrating a fusion between Western film culture and Chinese poetic art, Chinese Star Pot allows visitors to explore elements of Chinese symbolism and the artist’s good-humoured interpretation of both Empire and Jedi.
Tik Ka’s creativity has taken a deep root in China’s traditional culture; he has incorporated strong Chinese traits in his artistic expression. By fusing distinct Chinese characteristics with Western elements and the Japanese superflat technique, Tikka creates his own recognisable style.
