Mr Edmond Yeo JP, Chair of Chinese Information and Advice Centre received his Lifetime Achievement Award for Community Leadership at the 5th World Chinese Economic Forum, presented by the Hon. Tan Sri Dato’ Muhyiddin Yassin, the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia.

He also acted as the moderator at the discussion, ‘Forging Entrepreneurial Partnerships, Connecting Diasporas’.

The 5th World Chinese Economic Forum was held on 3^rd and 4^th October 2013, at Sunway Resort Hotel& Spa, Malaysia. It is the Premier World Business Event bringing together government, business and thought leaders on an annual basis to discuss the rise of China and China’s economic linkages; it also brings together leading business and community leaders from the Global Chinese Diaspora worldwide, coming from over 20 countries.

Mr Les Hardie of Rosewheel Limited, a London Chinatown property developer congratulates Mr Yeo’s achievement and wishes CIAC every success with the future projects.

The Forum will be held in Beijing in 2014 and London in 2015.

華人資料及資訊中心 (CIAC)主席楊慶權太平紳士在世界華人經濟論壇接受由馬來西亞副首相丹斯里慕尤丁頒發的終身成就獎。楊先生也在論壇上就 ‘打造企業夥伴關係，連繫各地華僑’ 的議題上擔任主持人。

第五屆世界華人經濟論壇在2013年10月3日以及4日於馬來西亞的Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa舉行。這是一個世界級首屈一指的商業活動，每年集結了政府，企業，以及思想領袖們共同探討中國崛起以及中國經濟的聯結。同時也匯聚了來自全球二十多個國家的海外華人，個個都是商業及社會領袖精英。

倫敦唐人街玫瑰輪(Rosewheel Limited) 的商業房產主管Les Hardie先生祝賀楊先生這次獲獎，並對CIAC未來發展的項目表示支持。

明年的論壇將於北京舉行而2015年的將於倫敦舉行。
