History

There are more Chinese Muslims in China than the population of the UK. An estimated 100 million live in China. There is a long history between Islam and China. In the year of 650 CE a delegation headed by Sa’ad bin Waqqas an uncle of the Prophet Muhammad spoke to the emperor at  time Yung Wei and the first mosque was built. The Canton mosque is a historic building which still remains today some 14 centuries later.
