Ushering in the Year of the Horse, Chinese New Year 2014 takes place on January 31. Always a vibrant and colourful celebration, the event aims to invite good fortune and luck into the year ahead. In Dublin, the seventh annual Dublin Chinese New Year Festival http://cny.ie/ will take place in the city centre until February 18, celebrating Chinese culture, music and dance.
