Debrett’s has always been the leaders in British luxury lifestyle and etiquette ever since 1769 to this day, establishing an irreplaceable international presence. Having built a reputation that shows everything quintessentially British, this time, they have partnered up with British model and socialite Jodie Kidd in collaboration for a new collection of travel wallets to add fashion-forward to their brand.
Led by creative chairman Sarah Elton, the creative team and Jodie have created a range that is not only fashionably British, but also practical as they were designed with the serious traveller in mind. The wallets are made in England with the finest Italian leather and come in three vibrant colours – ‘Plantation Pink’, ‘Hibiscus Orange’ and ‘Lotus Blue’. These striking hues will help to make any outfit pop during all four seasons of the year – making them versatile and timeless classics. The leather-lined interiors have also been carefully designed and curated so that there are compartments that allow users to have easy access to passports, travel documents, mobile phones and other necessities to save trouble and momentary panic at the airport or simply on a busy day.
Its simplistic but statement design also means that the wallets can be doubled as a clutch or portfolio – perfect for short trips to save luggage space – whereas the smaller wallets even feature a detachable leather strap so it can be used as a messenger bag that can be worn off the shoulder or across the body. The larger wallets on the other hand, consists of a strap that can be conveniently slipped over the handles of wheeled suitcases and are surprisingly, spacious, despite its flat design as they are able accommodate for tablet devices, chargers and even a MacBook Air. To many, it is the attention to these small details that count and make the difference.
Commenting on the launch of the collection, Jodie had noted, “the whole creative process has been a lot of fun. Debrett’s brought British style and exemplary design credentials to the table, and I came with plenty of fashion and travel experience, and lots of ideas. Together, we’ve created a range of stylist accessories that are both beautiful and practical.”
